Phosphorescent is Matthew Houck, the Alabama native, now resident in Brooklyn who has delivered five albums as Phosphorescent since his 2003 debut. His new album Muchacho is already described as a clear departure from the honky-tonk classic rock of of 2010's Here's To Taking It Easy.
