What a way to start the week - live music from former Slit Viv Albertine! Plus Marc leads a merry musical dance with "Where's He Going With This Then?"

Viv Albertine is most famous as a founder member of the legendary punk band the Slits, cited as an influence on everyone from the Beastie Boys to Massive Attack. Before that she was in the mythical Flowers of Romance alongside Sid Vicious. Now after twenty five years away from music she has returned with her new album the Vermillion Border.

Long-time associate Mick Jones plays guitar on one track plus every track features a different bass player, ranging from Tina Weymouth of Talking Heads to Jack Bruce of Cream.

After collaborations with Turner Prize nominated artists, Fiona Banner and Liam Gillick, Viv is now writing her memoirs entitled Clothes, Clothes, Clothes, Music, Music, Music, Boys, Boys, Boys, which will be out next year.
