A 麻豆社 Inside Out investigation has discovered that despite increasing abuse allegations in care homes, the Care Quality Commission (CQC) is behind on its inspections.

Abuse and neglect complaints in Essex care homes

Allegations of abuse of elderly people in Essex care homes have risen by more than 300 in a year, a 麻豆社 Freedom Of Information request has revealed.

Essex County Council said the increase in "safeguarding" allegations indicated people were not prepared to tolerate abuse or poor care practices.

Medieval graffiti

Research into Norfolk's medieval churches has discovered that many are covered in graffiti more than 500 years old.

The Norfolk Medieval Graffiti Survey (NMGS) was set up in 2010 with the aim of identifying and recording pre-Reformation graffiti inscriptions.
