Episode 23
The three finalists embark on the culinary experience of a lifetime at Heston Blumenthal's three Michelin-starred The Fat Duck.
In this penultimate show, the three finalists embark on the culinary experience of a lifetime at the one restaurant which has been more influential to its generation than any other in the world - Heston Blumenthal's three Michelin-starred The Fat Duck.
Granted first-time access to the inner workings of the restaurant and its development kitchens, the finalists spend three days being taught by head chef Jonny Lake and creative director James 'Jocky' Petrie. After two masterclasses which reveal the secrets and magic behind the food, they then have a chance to experiment themselves, before they are asked to take on their most terrifying task ever: working in service in The Fat Duck kitchens, for specially invited regulars and novices.
This programme is the ultimate foodie fantasy and it's the MasterChef finalists that get to live it!
