1/1 Bernard MacLaverty is one of our most distinguished authors. He's published five collections of short stories, two books for children and four novels. He adapted two of his best known titles, Lamb and Cal for the big screen and they both became major films.

Talking to Stuart Cosgrove he recalls Christmas as a youngster growing up in Northern Ireland, his association with The Belfast Group of poets and reveals the five titles that remind him of the festive season.
