The Hull Neighbourhood Team earn their stripes in the fight against drug crime as wily PCSO Pat uncovers a cannabis factory on an industrial estate. His discovery leads to a staggering two million pounds of cannabis - ready to hit the streets - being seized and destroyed.
Community officer Sam Gregory uses her unique local knowledge to track down a gang of youths responsible for attacking the owner of a local takeaway. The fight is captured on CCTV, giving Sam all the clues she needs to round up the young offenders.
And in a bid to combat the city's growing homelessness problem, the team try to help rough sleepers off the streets - and then show solidarity by joining them for a night in a cardboard city. But as they find out, no matter how hard they try, some people just do not want to be helped to find a warm bed and board.
