American singer songwriter Ben Folds takes control of the shows music through Twitter. He recently reunited with his band Ben Folds Five and released their first album since 1999, The Sound of the Life of the Mind.
The trio formed in Chapel Hill, North Carolina in 1993. During their first 7 years together they released 3 studio albums, and enjoyed mainstream success both here and in the US. They are best known for their single Underground from their 1995 self titled debut album, and Brick from their 1997 album Whatever and Ever Amen. Having split in 2000, they reunited in 2011 to record 3 songs for their career retrospective, and this led to the recording of the new album, which is the bands 4th.
