Jim will be showing us how to save our own seed tatties for next year. Lesley Watson will be adding wildlife-friendly bulbs to the Garden for Life and, since the nesting birds have all flown the coup by mid-September, Jim, Carole and Lesley set about pruning the hedges.

The Kelso Horticultural Society are hosting the National Vegetable Society's Scottish Branch Championship. Ian Stocks from Dunipace, near Falkirk, has previously won lots of awards for his long carrots, parsnips and beetroot. Our George Anderson goes along to see how he fares this year.
