Middle Age Shout Out! Thursday sees Shaun celebrate his 40th birthday with stellar guests, a special birthday cake and lots of surprises suggested by the 6 Music listeners!

Throughout 2012, as part of Â鶹Éç Radio 6 Music's 10th birthday celebrations we've been celebrating pivitol moments in Britsh Music and Culture. Today we celebrate one of the most important events in UK music history.

40 years ago, on the 14th June 1972, Shaun William Keaveny entered the World kicking and screaming. Today, live on the Â鶹Éç Radio 6Music Breakfast Show, we push Shaun, kicking and screaming into middle age as we celebrate his 40th Birthday.
