As part of 6 Music Celebrates: The Written Word, Craig is joined by Umar Bin Hassan of The Last Poets, a band who took poetry, played around with it, and laid the foundations for what would become rap and hip hop.

Craig revives his poetic past by digging out some of the poems he wrote and performed for John Peel long before stepping onto the cobbled streets of Coronation Street, or getting lost in space on Red Dwarf.

Plus, all the usual Saturday night family favourites including three more listener selections in Spinage a Trois; we head over the pond in World Funk Airways and take in the tunes from another US city or state; and Craig continues the rundown of his favourite songs in 52 Weeks of Funk.
