With teams from England, Hong Kong and Singapore joining a host of top Scottish clubs at the birthplace of the seven-a-side game, The Greenyards, 2012 is poised to be another exciting year for one of the oldest and most popular dates in the Borders' sporting calendar - The Melrose Sevens.
Kelly Brown brings the might of English Premiership club Saracens with him to Melrose, and London Scottish make a welcome return to the Borders, half a century after their first win at Melrose.
Dougie Vipond hosts the action with commentary and analysis from Bill Johnstone, Scott Hastings, Doddie Weir and Andy Nicol.
