As part of 麻豆社 6 Music Celebrates Dance Culture, Liz talks to Rusty Egan, DJ at 1980s club The Blitz, plus she chats to a listener in 6 of the Best.

As Part of 6 Music celebrates Dance Culture Liz chats to Rusty Egan, the DJ at the legendary 80s club The Blitz. And she chats to a listener in '6 OF THE BEST'

Rusty was at the heart of the New Romantic scene. He was the drummer in the new wave band The Rich Kids, formed by The Sex Pistols Glenn Matlock. He went on to work with Midge Ure as part of Visage, who enjoyed huge success with their single 'Fade To Grey'.

'6 of the best': This is where Liz asks listeners for 6 songs that remind them of listening to 6 Music. The songs can be oldies that were never played on other stations before 6 came along, standards that they love to hear on daytime radio, or songs that have come along since March 2002 and they automatically associate with listening to 6. Each week she will talk to a listener about their choices and play 2 of them.
