Sir Terry Wogan eases you into your Easter Sunday with a bumper selection of live music and musings.
This week, he's joined by Katie Melua for an acoustic session. The Georgian-born British singer and musician performed as part of the Weekend Wogan Christmas Concert at the Union Chapel.. After releasing her first album, Call Off The Search, at the age of nineteen, she went on to become the United Kingdom's best-selling female artist and Europe's highest selling European female artist in 2006. Katie's new album, Secret Symphony, is her fifth studio release.
Terry will also have the Irish indie rock band The Coronas in session. Formed in 2003 in Dublin, Danny O'Reilly of the band is the son of legendary Irish musician Mary Black. Their new album, Closer To You, was recorded in Los Angeles with producer Tony Hoffer, who has worked with the likes of Air, Beck, The Kooks and Belle and Sebastian.
