Emma Kirkby, Cafe Mozart, Callum Smart, Gordon Back

Presented by Suzy Klein. With music from soprano Emma Kirkby and Cafe Mozart, plus violinist Callum Smart performing alongside Gordon Back.

As they prepare to launch their new album 'Haydn 脿 l'anglaise', early music group Cafe Mozart and soprano Dame Emma Kirkby perform live in the studio. Director Derek McCulloch, flautist Jenny Thomas, guitarist Ian Gammie and Dame Emma talk to presenter Suzy Klein about music, life and their upcoming projects.

Also playing live in the studio, young violinist Callum Smart who won the string section of the 2010 麻豆社 Young Musician of the Year Competition at the age of thirteen with the Menuhin International Violin Competition Artistic Director Gordon Back on piano. Callum was a prize-winner in the 2010 Menuhin Competition and this year, it will take place in Beijing, the first time it has moved outside Europe.
