Eachdraidh Òran a' Mhotor-Car agus beagan mu phìobairean ainmeil Chlann 'IcArtair. The history of The Motor Car Song and the MacArthur pipers. With Allan Campbell.
The Ailean an toiseach a' cluinntinn mu eachdraidh Òran a' Mhotor-Car. An uair sin tha Ailean agus Eòin Dòmhnallach ann an seann chladh Chille Mhoire aig Rèilig Mhòr nan Dòmhnallach agus uaigh Fhionnghal NicDhòmhnaill. Cluinnear sgeulachd bho Alasdair Macleòid mu stèidh na cloiche. Cluinnear beagan mu phìobairean ainmeil Chlann 'IcArtair, agus tha Ailean is Eòin cuideachd a' tadhal air rèilig Mhà rtainnich a' Bhealaich agus aig cuimhneachan Alasdair MhicCuinn anns a' chladh ùr.
Allan Campbell hears of the first car to appear in Trotternish. Jonathan MacDonald tells of the many historical religious settlements in the area; the "Duns" (forts) which pre-dated these; and he also tells the legend of Arcol, the last Norse monk to inhabit the island on Loch Chaluim Chille.(Columba's Loch).
Allan and Jonathan then visit the old cemetery at Kilmuir and the respective memorials of Flora MacDonald; Charles MacArthur; the Martins of Bealach; and the modern memorial to star fashion designer Alexander MacQueen.
