Laura J Martin is from the suburbs of Liverpool. She cites her influences from Serge Gainsbourg and Wu Tang Clan to David Bowie and Herbie Mann. She creates music with her flute, a mandolin and a loop station, which she sings over and her songs are inspired by Japanese folkore She is currently working on her debut album which features collaborations with The Simonsound Buck 65 and Dan Le Sac. She will be showcasing her skills live on Cerys show.
