Joining Marc tonight are old friends Ivan Campo (the band, not the footballer. We've never met him) and Rob Hughes, with his Parallel Universe.
Ivan Campo are "guitar wielding minstrels who offer ethereal and unpretentious experiments in heartfelt wonder". In the past they've claimed to hail from the Isle of Campodia, which we think may be a suburb of Manchester. Known to the their parents as Adam, Ben and Will, they're regularly spotted playing live and have shared stages with the such Riley favourites as Jason Lytle, Jeff Lewis, James Yorkston and Sparrow and the Workshop.
The band have received airplay from the likes of Bob Harris Tom Robinson and Guy Garvey, had a track played on E4's 'Skins' television series and appeared at various UK festivals including The Secret Garden Party.
Their latest creation is seven track min-album "What Went Wrong?"' and came out in July 11th 2011.
The other Ivan Campo was a Spanish footballer who played for Bolton Wanderers. So now you know.
