A 60-minute compendium of audio gloop hosted by King of Freaks, Stuart Maconie, featuring Jonny Trunk exploring the bizarre world of music and movement recordings.
A 60 minute compendium of audio gloop, hosted by King of Freaks, Stuart Maconie, plus every week a special guest presenting a skewed example of weird music. This is the boiled-down peculiar little brother to Sunday's Freak Zone.
This week, "out there" expert and label lord Jonny Trunk presents a selection of rare English educational records made for teachers and children in the 1960s & 1970s. Intended mostly for use in PE lessons or dancing in strange ways, these tracks are supposed to encourage movements such as pretending to be a tree or a monkey. We hope you feel suitably moved to join in.
