Lauren is joined by Sonic Youth legend Thurston Moore for a live session. The indie hero launched Sonic Youth back in 1981, and over the last thirty years has been seen as the leader in the alternative music world, breaking down barriers for the likes of Nirvana to follow. Currently taking a break from all things Sonic Youth, he releases his fourth solo album Demolished Thoughts on Matador Records this summer.

Plus she speaks to the people behind some of the planet's outstanding independent websites in this week's Webchat, and offers up MPFrees and Headphone Moments galore in Workers Playtime.
