Rolling Stone Bill Wyman joins Cerys in the studio to talk about life in one of the biggest rock 'n' roll bands in the world and share some of his favourite blues tracks.
Rock and roll icon, author, restaurateur and photographer - legendary former Rolling Stones bassist BILL WYMAN has seen it all and continues to live life to the full. For over thirty years he was part of the best rock n roll band in the world.
His latest musical rebirth, as the driving force behind the fabulous RHYTHM KINGS, sees him return to his musical roots. This set of virtuoso musicians superbly bring back to life the kind of classic rhythm and blues that first inspired Wyman to pick up the guitar as a teenager. A show imbued with absolute quality.
"The whole idea behind the band was to play music that we love and I think you can hear and feel that on our records. Playing live, doing gigs, means everybody in the band does it for the same reasons as I do; to have a good time and send the crowd home with smiles on their faces" says Wyman.
Having spent much of 2010 touring Europe, BILL WYMAN'S RHYTHM KINGS return to tour the UK this October.
Bill will be joining Cerys in the studio to talk about life in the biggest Rock n Roll band in the world and sharing some of his favourite Blues tracks.
