Manchester's favourite adopted Californian Jesca Hoop returns for a session. Plus Rob Hughes drags Marc kicking and screaming into the Parallel Universe.
Adopted by fellow 6Music-ican Guy Garvey (not literally. He's not signed any forms or anything), Jesca returns the Manchester studio to perform live for us for the first time since her now legendary duet with Liz Green at Marc's Winter Warmer Carol Concert.
With the music industry, press and public all praising her debut album 'Hunting My Dress' (and why wouldn't they) the native Californian, now based in Manchester, has even had a request from Harvard's Divinity School to use her lyrics in a selection of works. And we haven't even mentioned that she used to be Tom Wait's nanny.
Jesca has previously supported both Elbow and the Eels on tour but will be playing a venue near you on her own during March.
