The surgeons developing a radical new treatment for depression, the end of the line for the Keynsham chocolate factory, and the Somerset man who helped decipher the Rosetta Stone.
Kirsty Hemming meets the first UK patient to undergo a radical new treatment for depression. Surgeons at Frenchay hospital near Bristol are testing out a new technique involving electrodes implanted in the brain. They hope it'll provide a modern alternative to the lobotomy.
As Keynsham's famous chocolate factory closes down, we meet a family who've clocked up more than a century in the confectionery business.
And Professor Mark Horton tells the story of the Somerset scientist who helped to unlock the secrets of the Rosetta Stone.
