Huey Morgan sits in

Huey Morgan looks after things for Lauren with the Wow Signal, Memory Tapes, Friday Film Club and an MPFree EP.

On August 15th 1977 a strange signal was detected by a radio telescope called The Big Ear in Ohio. Such was the strength of the signal compared to regular radio waves detected from space, the scientist who discovered it: Dr Jerry R Ehman circled it in red pen and wrote WOW next to it and thus became known as The WOW Signal. Now, each Friday Huey Morgan sends a response back to the stars on behalf of a guest in the form of a message and a song which, in their opinion, best resembles humanity. Also on the show, Huey celebrates another listener's compilation album in Memory Tapes, Mark Dinning of Empire Magazine reviews the latest movie releases, and a week's worth of free downloads are given away as the MPFree EP.
