Would you trust anyone to cut your hair? Alastair McKee investigates hairdressing horror stories that have left people with with nasty injuries. He discovers that a lack of regulation in the hairdressing industry means you can set up your own salon without any qualifications or training.
Plus Mike Dilger takes part in an unusual survey of Bath's birdlife. Conservationists are using feathers left behind from peregrine falcon attacks to see what kinds of birds are flying over the city - with some surprising results.
And John Maguire reports on the Bristol University team developing a car powered by wind turbines. But will their vehicle make it onto the starting grid at a special raceday in Denmark?
