Marillion
Chris Hawkins presents Marillion at Wembley Arena in 1992, including the songs Incommunicado and Kayleigh.
Marillion feature in this Classic Concert, which was recorded at Wembley Arena in 1992 and includes the songs Incommunicado and Kayleigh. The show is presented by Chris Hawkins.
Marillion formed in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire in 1979 as Silmarillion, after J.R.R. Tolkien's book of the same name. They played their first gig at Berkhamsted Civic Centre on 1 March 1980, and quickly developed beyond their initial influences of Queen, Pink Floyd, Van der Graaf Generator, Rush and, (most notably), early Genesis to craft a sound of their own.
This concert was recorded with third vocalist Steve Hogarth, who succeeded charismatic original vocalist Fish, (and transient member Dave Lloyd), to continue the group's premiere status amongst neo-prog aficionados.
