Episode 4 of 4
Mariella Frostrup and her guests share expertise and advice about how parents can help over-weight children. Why are so many of our children failing to eat healthily?
Where has it all gone wrong with children and food? The previous Labour Government spent nearly 拢2 billion over ten years attempting to tackle childhood obesity levels. Now more than one in three British children aged 5 to 13 are in the over-weight or obese category. Yet according to the latest research, parents of over-weight children don't even recognise that their children are too heavy to qualify as healthy. Mariella and her guests debate the tricky issue of raising healthy children.
Producer: Sarah Taylor.
