Glenda sends Barry off to paint a nice view and take his mind off eating. The dejected Howard wonders if Pearl still loves him. Hobbo takes pity on him.
Glenda sends a reluctant Barry off to paint a nice view, to take his mind off wanting to eat. The dejected Howard wonders if Pearl still loves him. Hobbo takes pity on him.
Hobbo delivers a message from Howard to Pearl - a brief peck - but Pearl grabs him and delivers a full-blooded kiss. Howard is aghast.
Glenda tells the uncertain Morton that he's going to Gloria's wedding as Moria's guest.
The men come across Barry painting at his easel, but it soon becomes apparent that he's dreaming of fish and chips.
Pearl and Nelly return home to find a sombre Howard with an 'evicted from home' sign. Howard chains himself to his bicycle, on the advice of Hobbo and his 'team', but Pearl has no sympathy for him.
The men end up in the pub. Howard decides to get some dutch courage and take the direct approach with Pearl. The men stagger home after several pints but Howard is unlucky in winning back Pearl's affections.
