This week's show features an interview with the piano and synthesizer pioneer and singer George Duke, who has worked with a range of artists including Frank Zappa. George looks back over his career and talks about the influence that Duke Ellington, Ray Charles and Miles Davis had on his tastes as well as the different styles he likes to explore when creating music.
Jamie also selects another session from the Â鶹Éç archives. So far, he has played sessions from Duke Ellington, the John Surman Octet, Tubby Hayes and Oscar Peterson, dating back to the 1960s.
