A series of four programmes featuring performances given at the 2009 Menlo Chamber Music Festival. Set in the San Francisco Bay Area, Music@Menlo is an internationally acclaimed chamber music festival and institute. Founded in 2003, by pianist, Wu Han and Emerson Quartet cellist, David Finckel, Music@Menlo is a vibrant young festival in the heart of Silicon Valley. It is known for its heady festival atmosphere of performances in intimate venues, its open door rehearsal policy, AudioNotes CDs, Caf茅 Conversations, Encounter lecture series and Masterclasses. All these plus the Chamber Music Institute for young musicians inspires aspiring performers and audiences alike to connect with chamber music in new and innovative ways.
