For the last in a series of concerts from Glasgow celebrating Czech chamber music, the Pavel Haas Quartet perform Janacek's masterwork for string quartet inspired by Tolstoy's short story The Kreutzer Sonata, contrasting it with the Second String Quartet by his most brilliant pupil, Pavel Haas, whose life was brutally cut short by the Nazis.
