SDLP MLA Dolores Kelly has asked the policing board chairman to investigate how the police handled a planned loyalist protest in Portadown which descended into violence. It's crunch time in the debate about when Policing and Justice powers should be handed over to Stormont. Over the weekend Sinn Fein accused the DUP of having a "train wreck strategy" on the issue and warned of political consequences if a date isn't set by Christmas. And The Belfast Telegraph and Inform Communications has surveyed people in Northern Ireland and their results suggest that the Deputy First Minister Martin McGuiness is the most impressive minister.
