Huey plays an eclectic mix of the best music from the past four decades, plus he talks to Brooklyn-based experimental rock group Grizzly Bear.
Fun Lovin' Criminal Huey Morgan brings you the perfect soundtrack to your Sunday afternoon. Feted Brooklyn based indie alt-rockers Grizzly Bear are Huey's guests this week on the show talking about their current and most accessible album to date, Veckatimest.
Hailed by music critics as one of the finest releases if 2009, Vecktimest is the band's third studio album and has led to greater exposure both over in the US and the UK. Well known on the Brooklyn music scene the band have previously collaborated with Dirty Projectors and Beirut and toured with luminaries TV On The Radio, Paul Simon and Radiohead.
With his motto "if it's cool, I'll play it", Huey also plays an eclectic mix of the best music from the past six decades, spanning rock, rap, disco, soul and Latino. Plus, legendary producer Arthur Baker trawls his record collection for some rare vinyl and listeners suggest their Sunday chill-out jams in Slack Sabbath.
