In a recital from the Queen's Hall in Edinburgh, tenor Christoph Pregardien and Andreas Staier, fortepiano, perform songs by Chopin and Schubert along with Schumann's late Lenau Lieder, Op 90. Plus a selection of rarely performed settings by the eccentric prodigy and friend of Mendelssohn, Norbert Burgm眉ller, who drowned at the Aachen Baths at the age of 26.
