What's your experience of violent crime?

Graham Stewart talks to the head of the Violence Reduction Unit, which was set-up to find solutions to violent behaviour.

Detective Chief Superintendent John Carnochan, head of the Violence Reduction Unit, and his deputy Karyn McCluskey hear your stories and answer your questions.

With Scotland one of the most violent countries in the developed world, how should we tackle serious assaults?

The Violence Reduction Unit was established in order to find solutions to these problems. In creating a national centre of expertise, John and his team deal with violence in all its forms - in schools and the workplace, to violence on our streets and domestic abuse. They work closely with other professionals, including social workers, health experts and academics.

Graham Stewart takes your calls, texts and emails.
