Steve Lamacq's Classic Glastonbury - Pulp in 1995
Steve Lamacq's classic Glastonbury moments continue with Pulp's magnificent, career-defining set from 1995, when they filled in for the Stone Roses at the last minute.
Lammo presents Pulp's career defining set from 1995. Pulp had been going since 1982 and were favourites of the critics and John Peel. In 1995 the Stones Roses were booked to headline the Pyramid stage but all went awry when John Squire broke his collar bone. Michael Eavis turn to Jarvis Cocker for help and Pulp stepped in, providing that year's "Glastonbury Moment", and catapulting themselves into the Premier League of Britpop.
