The Music Week visits Michael and Emily Eavis at Worthy Farm to find out how preparations for the Glastonbury Festival are going. Plus we celebrate fifty years of Island Records.
As the Pyramid Stage is liberated from its winter home in a barn, and the first of 15,000 bins begin to spring up around Worthy Farm, we visit Michael and Emily Eavis to find out how preparations for this year's Glastonbury Festival are going.
As Emily takes an ever-bigger role in organising the legendary festival, while her father gradually steps back, they also reminisce about their favourite Glasto moments.
Plus we hear the little-told story of the night that a James Brown concert prevented rioting in Boston - the day after Martin Luther King was assassinated; celebrate fifty years of Island Records; and interview Brian Eno as he unveils his ambitious audio visual project on the sails of the Sydney Opera House.
