The ultimate culinary challenge for Britain's top chefs. Ed Baines and Galton Blackiston compete selling their three-course menus in a modern French brasserie.
The ultimate culinary challenge for Britain's top chefs. Every day two chefs go head-to-head buying food, preparing dishes and selling them to diners at some of the country's most diverse and high-end restaurants. Selling more dishes than their rival and winning the competition has never been more important.
The chefs putting their own money and reputations on the line are John Burton-Race, Nick Nairn, Gino D'Acampo, Aldo Zilli, James Tanner, Paul Rankin, Ed Baines, Atul Kochhar, Richard Phillips, and Galton Blackiston.
Ed Baines and Galton Blackiston face off in a modern French brasserie. First they design a menu befitting their exacting clientele, then they buy their ingredients, prep their food and serve their dishes. Offering one starter, one main course and one dessert each, they sell to the same roomful of diners; whoever makes the most profit wins. Which chef will get it right and deliver the more popular food?
