Bruce Dickinson is joined by Deep Purple singer and one-time member of Black Sabbath Ian Gillen, who talks about his four decades in the business.
This week we welcome one of rock's most infamous vocalists to the show, Ian Gillan.
Having performed with ground-breaking bands like Deep Purple and Black Sabbath, Gillan began singing when he was a teenager, heavily influenced by the likes of Elvis Presley, Little Richard and Buddy Holly.
In 1969 Gillan joined Deep Purple and forty years on the band is still going strong (having survived some line-up upheavals) with a UK tour scheduled for the end of this year.
He's also enjoyed success as a solo artist and has just recorded his new album 'One Eye To Morocco'.
He'll be talking to us about the forthcoming tour and how he's enjoyed four decades in the industry.
