Programme which uses footage from the 麻豆社 archive to provide a rich primary source of material for students who are studying USA Civil Rights issues of the 1950s and 60s. As well as on-the-spot reports from the demonstrations in Birmingham, Alabama 1963 and the voter registration drive in Selma 1965, the programme contains in depth interviews with Martin Luther King Jnr, Malcolm X, Stokely Carmichael, and Rosa Parks. There is also footage of Little Rock 1957, Lunch Counter protests, Freedom Riders, the Nation of Islam and Black Power.
