Sue Barker presents coverage from the International Women's Open.
Sue Barker presents coverage from the International Women's Open. With its relaxed atmosphere and lush grass courts, Eastbourne has always been a popular stop-off for the world's elite women players as they warm up for Wimbledon, which begins next week.
Justine Henin has won the event for the last two years but the Belgian's recent shock retirement means she will not be back to defend her crown. However, there will be plenty of other big names in action, including former Wimbledon champions Amelie Mauresmo and Lindsay Davenport as well as Serbian star Ana Ivanovic, who reached the last four at the All England Club in 2007.
