John Inverdale presents coverage of the World Championships in Munich, and on the first of two days of finals Great Britain will be hopeful of winning a number of medals. Chief among the British hopefuls is the men's coxless four of Steve Williams, Peter Reed, Alex Partridge and Andy Hodge. The world champions of 2005 and 2006 were beaten for the first time in 30 races in Lucerne in July, with Alex Partridge absent through injury.
