Charles Hazlewood introduces the 麻豆社 Symphony Orchestra under David Robertston as they perform two 20th century American classics - Leonard Bernstein's Second Symphony, The Age of Anxiety, and Charles Ives' Fourth Symphony. The programme begins with the first 麻豆社 commission of the season, Substratum by British composer Sam Hayden.
