Lida Lopes Cardozo is responsible for some of the finest examples of stonework in Britain's churchyards. For the past 30 years she has carved headstones for many of the country's great people including Archbishop Runcie. But whilst Lida is creating lasting memorials to those who have gone, she is facing up to her own mortality after a life-threatening illness.
