I Love 1980

Larry Hagman introduces a look back to 1980, the year when the world wondered who shot JR, The Human League were in the charts and Pac Man gobbled his way to video gaming fame.

Larry Hagman presents I Love 1980, a period in which his ten-gallon Dallas character JR Ewing was shot and set up the television story of the year in Who Shot JR?

It's the year of Fame, Diff'rent Strokes and Metal Mickey. The Human League and Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark promised a brave new world of music... Liquid Gold, Kelly Marie and the Gap Band brought us back down to earth.

Girls got into jumpsuits, boys got into labels, The Face told us what we should be getting into. We stuffed our faces with the revolutionary Monster Munch, and Pac Man scoffed everything else.
