6 things we loved about Loyle Carner at 6 Music Live
Four days in to , and it was time to welcome our penultimate performer. told us "I love 6 Music with all my heart" and in return we let him hold court in Maida Vale Studio 3. He brought his mother with him and even had new scarves made - it all got very emotional. Here are 6 things we loved about his performance:
1. He has a lot of love for his mum
The session brought a tear to the eye when Loyle paid tribute to his late stepdad, with his mum standing in the front row of the audience. Making a star turn on 'Sun Of Jean', Jean Coyle-Larner showed that lyricism runs in the family. She joined him on stage as he took his bow, and earlier Loyle spoke of the role his mum paid in encouraging him to release music.
