The Â鶹Éç has named the 25 successful companies that have gained a place on its XM25 independents' network initiative for companies based outside London.
Now in its third year, XM25 is part of the Â鶹Éç's Network Supply strategy to help sustain a strong and vibrant production sector across the UK.
The scheme provides an opportunity for independent production companies to gain in-depth access to and knowledge of the Â鶹Éç's Knowledge, Entertainment and Daytime commissioning departments to help foster successful working relationships and develop network programme ideas.
The chosen producers will take part in a series of intensive sessions and networking events over the coming year with Â鶹Éç commissioners and executives from other Â鶹Éç departments including scheduling, marketing and audience planning.
The first session will be held in London in September, with others held over the following nine months.
Â鶹Éç Independents Executive Krishan Arora said of this year's scheme: "We had a good field of applicants this year and I am delighted with such a strong and diverse final line-up.
"We were looking for dynamic companies with the creative drive and capacity to produce network shows for the Â鶹Éç. Having companies from around the UK engaging with our commissioners will also allow the Â鶹Éç to connect with a wide range of talent and ideas. I'm really looking forward to building on those relationships and helping to facilitate the development of a raft of great programmes for us."
