On Friday 24 July, at 6.00pm, Â鶹Éç Two will be home to some of the biggest names in athletics as it kicks off the first day of the two-day London Grand Prix live meeting from Crystal Palace.

Coverage of the second day will be shown on Saturday (25 July) on Â鶹Éç One from 2.15 to 5.30pm.

Jamaican sprint sensation Usain Bolt, over the two days, will attempt to secure the 100m title having successfully won the 200m title for the last two years at Crystal Palace.

Bolt will be up against former world record-holder Asafa Powell in the 100m and will also be running in the 4x100m relay for Jamaica.

Meanwhile British athletics fans can expect to see performances from the UK's Jessica Ennis, Phillips Idowu and Simeon Williamson.

Triple world champion Tyson Gay will be running in the 200m, double Olympic champion Tirunesh Dibaba will run over 5,000m, while Russian pole-vaulting champion and world record-holder Yelena Isinbayeva and Olympic 110m hurdles champion and world record-holder Dayron Robles will also be among the athletes competing as they make their final preparations for the World Championships in Berlin next month.

Presenter Hazel Irvine will be joined by Denise Lewis, Britain's gold medal winning heptathlete from the 2000 Sydney Olympics, alongside Colin Jackson, while Steve Cram, Paul Dickenson, Jonathan Edwards and Brendan Foster will commentate on the action. Phil Jones will report from trackside.
