John Inverdale and Phill Jupitus DJ on Radio Kent

Â鶹Éç Radio Kent favourite Roger Day takes a short break from his 7.00-10.00pm weekday show for the next two weeks and some big names from the world of comedy, sports presenting and music will be sitting in the hot seat while Roger enjoys a sunnier climate.

Â鶹Éç Sport presenter John Inverdale will sit in for Roger on Wednesday 1 October while comedian and Never Mind The Buzzcocks team captain Phill Jupitus will sit in for Roger on 2ÌýandÌý3 October.

Radio Kent listeners will also get the chance to hear Kent resident and former Â鶹Éç Radio 1 DJ Adrian John in addition to station favourites including Dave Cash and Steve Cherelle during the two-week period.

Kent Managing Editor Paul Leaper said: "Roger's show is a big hit with our listeners and serves the important evening audience as they return home from work from all across the region.

Monday 29 September - Adrian John
Former Radio 1 presenter Adrian makes a return to Radio Kent. Kent resident Adrian presented on Radio 1 from 1982 to 1989 and brings a unique insight into his favourite tracks.

British country/folk singer Steve is a regular in country venues across the UK. Ìý
Wednesday 1 October - John Inverdale
A favourite with sports fans on Â鶹Éç radio and TV, John shares a love of music with Kent regular Roger Day and leapt at the chance to jump into his shoes for the night Ìý
Thursday 2 and Friday 3 October - Phill Jupitus
The hugely talented comedian and DJ shares his well-established passion for music with the Â鶹Éç Kent Audience. Ìý
