Partnership with Radio Misty brings Â鶹Éç to FM in North Bengal and Sikkim


Audiences inÌýNorth Bengal and Sikkim can listen to the Â鶹Éç's special FM programming for the first time.

Thanks to a partnership agreement between the Â鶹Éç and Siliguri-based Radio Misty 94.3 FM, listeners in the region can now tune in to the Â鶹Éç's infotainment updates and chat shows tailor-made for India's FM market.

Ìý

The Â鶹Éç programming includes infotainment updates, Â鶹Éç Ek Minute – taking listeners inside the world of sports and entertainment every half-hour, from 8.00am to 8.00pm, Monday to Friday.

Ìý

Every Sunday, audiences will be treated to the Â鶹Éç's weekly chat show, Â鶹Éç Ek Mulaqat, presented by Â鶹Éç India Editor, Sanjeev Srivastava.

Ìý

The show profiles India's prominent people from the world of media, films, sports, business, arts and politics, showing "the other side" of celebrities' lives and playing their favourite songs.

In addition, Â鶹Éç Take One will feature previews and box office reports of new Bollywood and Hollywood films releasing in the week.

Ìý

The unique sports magazine, Â鶹Éç Fun And Games, will provide a weekly round-up of the recent sporting action from around the world, taking listeners into the rollercoaster world of sports, from cricket to Formula 1.

Known by its tagline "Gungunate raho" (Keep humming), Radio Misty 94.3 FM is the first FM station in Siliguri.

Launched in 2007, it has an aerial reach of 80 km and broadcasts programme in four languages: Hindi, Bengali, Nepali and English.

With the motto, "Local people, Local voice, Local station, Local choice", Radio Misty 94.3 FM connects local people via interactive and innovative shows, focusing on local culture and heritage. Its programmes are designed to cater for people from all walks of life and all ages.

In addition to the Â鶹Éç's main FM partner, Radio One in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Ahmadabad, Chennai, the programmes are available on Radio Chaska (Gwalior), Radio Choklate (Bhubaneswar, Rourkela), Radio Tadka (Jaipur, Udaipur) and Radio Tomato (Kolhapur).
