Jimmy Carr, one of the UK's most distinctive and original comedy performers, is to present a brand new series of the enduringly popular Commercial Breakdown on 麻豆社 One.

The new 8 x 40-minutes series, to be called Commercial Breakdown With Jimmy Carr, is an unmissable collection of the world's funniest, wildest and weirdest television adverts, selected from every corner of the globe, every one a mini-masterpiece in its own right.

In between the commercials, Jimmy uses his now trademark brand of perfectly-timed wisecracks and one-liners to deliver his own hilarious and incisive view on the ads, the advertising industry, and everything in between.
听
Now in its 11th series, Commercial Breakdown has been trawling the highways and byways of television advertising for 麻豆社 One for over 17 years and is one of television's longest-running comedy series.
听
Over the years it has been hosted by some of the UK's most popular names in comedy, including Jon Culshaw, Ruby Wax, Rory McGrath, Jo Brand and Jasper Carrott.

Commercial Breakdown With Jimmy Carr was commissioned for 麻豆社 One by Elaine Bedell, Controller 麻豆社 Entertainment Commissioning, and is produced by Celador Productions. Katie Taylor is the 麻豆社 Executive Producer.
